Questions, answered.

The careful kind, the ones you'd ask. Damage types, colorization, privacy, printing — covered below. If we missed yours, write to us.

  • Will my photos be used to train AI?

No. Your photographs are yours. We never use uploaded images for model training, never share them with third parties, and never store them longer than needed to deliver your restoration. Restorations are always private to your account.

  • What kind of damage can you fix?

Tears, creases, fold lines, scratches, stains, water damage, mold spots, and fading. Where damage has completely destroyed part of an image — a missing corner, flaked-away emulsion over a face — we reconstruct it carefully from what remains, and we're honest that reconstructed areas are a faithful inference, not a recovery.

  • Do I need a scanner?

No. A clear phone photo of the print works — lay the photo flat in even light, avoid glare, and fill the frame. Higher-quality input gives a higher-quality restoration, but don't let a missing scanner stop you.

  • How does colorization work?

When your photo is black & white or sepia, we deliver two versions with one restoration: the repaired original in its own tone, and the same photo brought to life in realistic, historically plausible color. Color photos get repaired in their true colors.

  • How long does it take?

About a minute. Your free preview arrives watermarked so you can see your photo restored before paying anything; paid restorations arrive clean, in HD, private to your account.

  • Do restorations expire?

No. Buy one or twenty-five and they stay on your account until you spend them. Some families work through a shoebox one photo at a time.

  • Can I print the result?

Yes — every paid restoration comes as a high-resolution file you can take to any print shop. The file is yours to do with as you wish.
