Terms · 2026

The agreement, in plain English.

How Remorva works, what your creations buy, and what we ask in return. The kind of thing you can read end-to-end.

Effective September 21, 2026

  • The arrangement

Remorva is a service that restores damaged family photographs using AI — repairing tears, creases, stains, and fading, and optionally bringing black & white photographs back in realistic color. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

  • Your account

You need to verify an email to use Remorva. You're responsible for keeping that email secure — anyone with access to it can request a sign-in code. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else got in. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

  • Restorations and what they buy

A restoration is a credit that restores one photograph in private HD — the repaired original, plus a colorized version when your photo is black & white. Credits don't expire. Each account also gets one free preview restoration per calendar month: full quality, watermarked, private to you, and upgradeable to clean HD with a credit. Pricing is on the pricing page; we may change prices going forward but won't change what you've already paid for.

  • The photos you give us

You keep the rights to the photographs you upload. You grant Remorva a limited license to process them for the sole purpose of restoring them. We don't use your photographs to train AI models. We don't share them with third parties beyond the AI provider we use to perform the restoration. Photographs you upload but never restore are deleted from our storage within seven days. Once a photograph is restored, we keep your original alongside the restoration — so you can always compare the before and after — until you delete the restoration or close your account.

  • The restorations we give you

The restored photographs Remorva produces are yours to keep, print, frame, gift, and share. Every restoration — free preview or paid — is private to your account; we never publish, feature, or share your photographs without your explicit written permission. Where damage has destroyed part of an image, the restoration reconstructs that area from what remains: a faithful inference, not a recovery — and it may differ from how the original looked.

  • What we ask in return

Don't upload images you don't own the rights to or have permission to restore. Don't use Remorva to create anything sexual, violent, hateful, or designed to deceive — including altering photographs to misrepresent what they depict. Don't try to identify or harass anyone using our service. We'll remove content and close accounts when we see this happen.

  • When things end

You can close your account anytime by emailing us — we'll remove your photographs and personal data within 30 days. Unused credits aren't refundable, except where required by law. If a restoration comes back clearly broken — not merely different from what you imagined — write to us and we'll re-run it or return the credit. If you find yourself in a situation that doesn't feel right, write to us anyway; we'd rather hear about it.

  • The honest disclaimers

AI restoration isn't deterministic — running the same photograph twice can produce slightly different results, and reconstructed areas are informed estimates, not recovered truth. We make no guarantee that any given restoration will match your expectations exactly, that colorized hues match the original scene, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be free of errors. The service is provided as-is.

  • Limits of what we owe you

To the extent allowed by law, Remorva isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations — they may not apply to you.

  • Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (to the address on your account) before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

  • Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Remorva is headquartered. Disputes should first be raised by writing to [email protected] — we'll try to resolve them directly before either side considers formal action.

  • Reach out

Questions about anything in these terms — write to [email protected]. We read every message.
